The Daimler 250 or 2.5L V8 four-door saloon was the very first of its kind to be based on the Jaguar platform and the last to feature a Daimler engine before they were bought over by Jaguar in 1960. Powered by a hemispherical head V8 designed by Edward Turner and first used in the Daimler SP250 sports car. The Daimler 250 saloon with manual transmission with overdrive.
